Close Quarters will be accessible to Battlefield 3 Premium users tomorrow June 12th ~13:00 CET. To celebrate the DLC release we will be expanding Oscar Mike by three additional BF3 servers. One 32 slot CQ server (domination) and one shiny new 64 slot server (Operation Metro Conquest) which will come online later this week. For one moment I thought one server was gonna have +96 slots But great servers and Gunmaster is great fun, atm!
Yes we changed the Gun Game and Conquest Dominitian servers to higher slot size. They were both 16 players, now Gun Game is 64 and Conquest Dominatian is 32.
From what I can see, metro servers are decreasing in popularity all the time. I'm fairly certain that conquest domination will push itself through as a more fun way to get lots of points. I have a spm of ~2000 in a 10 minute round of conquest domination (1 Medal per round, if no medal(s) its still over ~1000+ spm). DICE just has to optimize the netcode better for CQ, it seems a bit off but I guess its also down to the fact that its a lot more fast pace than any other gamemode, except gun master maybe.
Im always on the metro and vanilla conquest servers. CQD was basically to me another TDM mode but with more points so i thought it was a little too fast pace for me but they were always fun
